Richard provides leadership for initiatives to sustain and improve the quality of undergraduate education at UCSC. He provides direct oversight for academic advising, academic offerings in the colleges, summer session, teaching improvement, honors and awards, and Enrollment Management (Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Orientation). He also oversees the Division of Global Engagement.

Elani is the division's chief financial and human resources officer. She is responsible for all operations in the Human Resources and Financial Offices for the Divisions of Undergraduate Education (UE) and Global Engagement (GE).  Elani provides strategic guidance and advises the VPDUEGE and unit leaders in supporting divisional and campus priorities through the management of resources, policy development, and resolution of complex issues.

Tracy acts as a conduit and the communications leader for the Divisions of Undergraduate Education and Global Engagement. She serves as an advisor to all units providing leadership and guidance in facilitating the resolution of complex issues, strategic planning and advancing divisional and campus priorities. She also coordinates the management of the daily operations of the VPDUE and Undergraduate Education divisional office.

Haydee is the lead resource manager and planning administrator for the Divisions of Undergraduate Education and Global Engagement and oversees budgets for the divisional offices, departments, units, and programs. Haydee is responsible for developing and overseeing fiscal systems and procedures, oversight of fiscal/business office transactions, and directs and advises UE units on complex financial challenges and operational issues and develops creative and effective solutions.

Leslie maintains the calendar for Richard Hughey, Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education and Global Engagement. She provides administrative/analytical support to the VPDUE/VPGE and Divisions on a wide variety of one-time and ongoing projects and manages annual divisional events.

Stephanie Silva

Stephanie plays a pivotal role in envisioning and implementing the division's strategic communication strategies. Collaborating with all units, she crafts comprehensive communication plans and develops engaging digital content. She seeks to elevate the visibility of the division’s programs and initiatives to internal and external audiences. Stephanie also serves as the division’s crisis communications lead and central website liaison.
