Staff Engagement Survey Results

For the past three years, the Division of Undergraduate Education and Division of Global Engagement has conducted a staff engagement survey to gauge how we are doing in the areas of career development, work engagement, relationship management, and work environment. I’m happy to report that the results of the 2018 survey are available. While we had slightly fewer responses this year, we continue to see positive results in many categories, as well as opportunities for improvement.

The divisions’ personnel and operations advisory groups have met twice to review the data and are working on recommendations for how we can build upon our successes and also continue to improve in areas where we see opportunities. The advisory groups expect to present their recommendations to the divisional leadership teams sometime in spring quarter. If you have ideas that you’d like to the advisory groups to consider, please submit them to ugdiv@ucsc.edu or contact David Abercia (dabercia@ucsc.edu | 9-4908). Throughout the year, we will be sure to provide periodic updates on the recommendations that are presented and the progress made on them.
