UC Santa Cruz Summer Session is a leader in the UC system in its growth and development of new courses, programs and curriculum in support of student achievement and success. With an entrepreneurial spirit, the department is an active campus collaborator, helping UC Santa Cruz achieve its goals of improved student transition, decreased time-to-degree, graduate student employment, and educational experience opportunities for our students in summer.
The Director is responsible for strategic campus and systemwide leadership and developing and maintaining strong relationships with all academic departments, colleges, and divisions, and leveraging these collaborations in the development of new and refined summer courses, curricula, programs, and initiatives.
We are seeking a demonstrated leader with program development experience, financial expertise and excellent communication and analytical skills, who is adaptable and interested in joining an organization that values mindfulness, creative problem-solving, and a healthy work-life balance.
