New approach to college academic support

Starting February 1, the Division of Undergraduate Education will adopt a new approach to college academic support. College Academic Managers (CAMs) will transition to a shared services model that combines centralized operations with college-specific support. This change is designed to create a more consistent and sustainable structure, improving operations across all colleges and allowing for a greater focus on key priorities like student engagement and curriculum management.

The new structure was informed by feedback from college academic staff and the Council of Provosts. It’s designed to encourage collaboration across colleges and standardize services, while celebrating each college's uniqueness.

Under this model, CAMs will work in two teams:

• Programming & Administration Team (reporting to Jon Keesey, Colleges Financial Manager): Responsible for administration, planning, financial and scholarship management, facilities coordination, and college-specific events and projects.
• Curriculum & Academic Human Resources Team (reporting to Lisa Pauken, Academic Personnel Manager): Responsible for curriculum planning, academic HR coordination, and academic misconduct adjudication.

If you manage websites or materials that reference CAMs, please make sure to update them to reflect this new structure.
