Dear Colleagues,
Curious about becoming a college provost? We will be hosting an information forum and Q&A with a few current college provosts with the hope of demystifying the role.
This forum will cover “a day in the life” of a college provost, their responsibilities and challenges, their favorite and most rewarding parts of the job, how to balance being provost with research and teaching, and cross-colleges initiatives.
Faculty who may be interested in the college provost role, or other roles in the colleges, such as teaching in the College Scholars honors program or other college courses, joining a college executive or standing committee, or taking part in academically-focussed student, alumni, or faculty events, now or in the future, are encouraged to join.
