The Division of Undergraduate Education will welcome three finalists for a newly created position, Director of Academic Integrity, on January 22nd, 23rd and 26th. The transformative leader selected for this position will be the first step towards the formation of the Academic Integrity Office (AIO) at UC Santa Cruz. The AIO will reimagine the university’s approach to academic ethics, with a focus on student-centered learning, mentorship, and restorative justice.
During each candidate’s campus interview day, we will offer two talks with Q&A, one focuses on their Vision for Academic Integrity at UC Santa Cruz over the next 5 years, the other on the Challenges and Opportunities of Artificial Intelligence and Academic Integrity in Higher Education.
